I have tried so many skin routines that I don’t know what my natural skin would look like if I just left it alone. I know that there are numerous skin treatments and remedies that work and are highly effective, but they need you to do your part in order to be as effective as possible. If we want our skin to be the best that it can be, we need to be drinking loads of water every day. We know that water helps every function and organ in our bodies, but we tend to overlook the fact that our skin is the largest organ we have!
So it needs water just as much as the rest of our bodies to be looking its best. Water flushes out toxins that would stay in our bodies otherwise. If we don’t drink enough water, some of these toxins can manifested on our skin as the body is trying to get rid of it somewhere, but it gets essentially trapped. Since our bodies are made up of around 70% water, how can we think we can ever getting enough of it? The same concept applies in relation to our skin.
To keep the balance of moisture and the flushing out of toxins that can become zits, we need to be drinking enough water to where our urine is clear. Experts say around eight glasses of water a day is ideal, but every person is different, so make sure to adjust to your own body’s needs.
